Agricultural market experts do not rule out the possibility of rising prices for bread and pasta in Ukraine in the fall. It is reported that prices for these products will rise due to market monopolization. According to agro-industrial expert Denis Marchuk, in autumn bread may rise in price by almost 20%, and the price of a loaf of bread will rise to 10 hryvnia, writes chv.tv. Despite a good grain harvest, most of it is exported abroad, while domestic needs are less than needed. In addition, the grain market in Ukraine is dominated by monopolists, who set high prices for raw materials. Increased prices may be unaffordable for small bakeries in small local locations, and therefore it will be imported, which will also affect the price of products.
